Our Core Purpose
We develop players, coaches, referees, and teams who enjoy soccer, and strive to help them learn life lessons while creating friendships that last a lifetime.
Our Core values
We are one team.
To win on the field, we know we first must win in the locker room. As one team, we confront the reality of challenging situations and work together to overcome them. We encourage each other, help each other on and off the fields, and learn and grow together. We understand that trusting one another helps to create a better, more positive environment, which allows us to achieve more. Our team is made up of members of the community we live in and those are the people who help us grow as a club.
We respect each other.
We treat others like we want to be treated—with empathy and respect. We understand that everyone who comes through the doors of the club is in a different stage of their personal development, and we set out to provide a positive environment for each player. We thrive as a club because we share mutual respect for referees, coaches, parents, players, staff, volunteers, and fans. We are committed to exemplary sportsmanship and achievement on the field and in our community.
We foster humility.
Win or lose, we always respect the game and our opponent. We acknowledge the effort of our opponents and value the time we spent doing what we love. We truly appreciate the contribution of our team members and articulate our gratitude to others. Humility keeps us grounded, prevents us from becoming complacent, and allows us to grow with grace on and off the field.
We work hard.
We have grit—we are disciplined in our commitments and in getting things done. We are not perfect; but we are dedicated to improving our club, our teams, our players, and ourselves. We give 100 percent and leave it all on the field. We provide positive energy and encourage players to do their best. We are far from perfect, but we work to achieve success and learn from our mistakes.
We have a growth mindset.
Player development is at the core of our DNA. We take players to next level – regardless of their starting point. We encourage players to step outside of their comfort zone to improve and grow as players and people. We don’t view defeat or mistakes as failures, but as opportunities to learn and improve. When we lose or fail, we don’t make excuses or blame others; we take a deeper look at ourselves to identify ways we can improve in the future. We are competitive: we dream big, and we set the bar high.
For the love of the game.
Soccer is a game. We remind ourselves of that fact in everything we do. We understand that soccer is also a competitive sport, but we bear in mind that first and foremost, soccer and our club community should be a fun and positive environment. Our idea of victory is developing ourselves and others, and fostering a genuine love for the game.
